October 28, 2010 – Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort launched a theme dinner dubbed as Food Street: Cebu’s Gourmet Street Cuisine by Maribago Bluewater.
This culinary treasure trove inspired Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort to hold a food festival to cater to the discerning palates of travelers with the Food Street tour, which emphasizes the unique street food culture of Cebu.
“We wanted to highlight the richness and diversity of Cebu’s food culture through a food trip that would not only offer the authentic taste of street food but also the holistic experience of street food indulgence,” says Executive Chef, Gilbert Alan Mathay. “We intend to achieve this by offering some of the most popular Cebuano street food items in a hospitable setting that exudes a truly Filipino atmosphere.”
